I had the opportunity to attend my first workshop and can I just say “WOW”?! It was taught by Jeff from JNP Studios and Eliesa from Photogen-Inc. I learned so much that day, both about photography and business. I cannot wait to apply the amazing lessons I learned!
Here are some shots I took that day of Jared and Christy. I was so stoked to be able to use Jeff’s tilt-shift lens!

Jeff & Eliesa- thank you for such a wonderful, fun day!
Melisa and Jason are high school sweethearts and, after six years together, decided to tie the knot! I first met them a few weeks ago at a consultation meeting. After going over all the wedding day details, they said to me, “We’ve been together for six years. We’re not going to get stressed out planning our wedding. We love each other and we’re going to have fun celebrating with our friends and family.” I love that about them.
I met up with these two lovebirds in San Juan Capistrano for their engagement session. The time I spent with them was so fun-filled and love-filled. I simply cannot wait to shoot their wedding in May!

Melisa, you are lovely… just lovely!

I love my brother. I love him a LOT. He is someone who is a constant source of encouragement, love, and compassion. Recently, he launched his own blog- The Gospel for OC. He created this blog to serve as a place to collect and share thoughts on God, theology, church, culture and life. I am so proud of all he has (and will) accomplish. Words simply cannot express how much I love my big brother!
I took some photos of Chris over the holiday weekend. Here are some quick backyard portraits:

My Christmas gift to Chris was a new tattoo. I went with him to Sid’s Tattoo Parlor to document it. I highly recommend going to Sid’s- the place is impeccably clean and the artists constantly quote lines from The Hangover. I couldn’t ask for anything better.
(Note: Both of our tattoos were done by Los. He was so great to work with and is incredibly talented at what he does.)

That morning, I heard a sermon at church that referenced Romans 5:20. It caused me to look at my relationship with God in a completely different light. That verse became etched in my mind and while Chris was getting inked, I decided it was time to get my first tattoo.

There’s something so refreshing about meeting high school sweet hearts who get married. Well, Josh and Jessica are elementary school sweethearts. My heart melted when I heard that and it melted even more when I met them. They are two of the nicest, genuine, and loving people I have ever met. It was such a joy to be around them and document their love.
Josh and Jessica have been married for three years and wanted to have a session with me to update their photo albums. I thought this was a great idea. I think often times, people feel like they can’t get photos taken unless there’s a special occasion; however, I believe that simply wanting them taken is good enough! Having photos of you and your loved one(s) is a priceless investment that everyone should have.
Josh and Jessica- it was a pleasure being a first-hand witness to your unconditional love for one another. Enjoy!
(Note: special thanks to Natasha Najand who tagged along and was a great assistant!)

Jessica- you are beautiful.

BLING.

The Bailey family has four boys, all under the age of six. Yes…four. And they are all so adorably cute. Win x4!
Here are the sweet boys:
big brother Bryce and his triplet brothers- Aiden, Brandon & Andrew.

Tanya and Chris (aka Mom and Dad) told me the last time just the two of them got photos taken was back when they got engaged. I was not okay with that and immediately told them things were about to change.

And some family shots…

The sweetest moment for me was when we wrapped up the shoot and the boys insisted on taking a picture with me. I’m almost certain my heart exploded when they said that.

Tanya and Chris- thank you for allowing me to capture your family’s sweet memories!
WIth love,
Cami

Two of my greatest loves are my iphone and the ShakeItPhoto app. These two do just fine together and allow my DSLR to have a break.
